Works on the ₹702.44-crore underground pedestrian vestibule (underground passage/entry facility) connecting the Science Centre Metro station on the Aqua Line (Metro-3) to the Worli Promenade on the Coastal Road via the Mahalaxmi Racecourse will begin soon.

The project will be implemented by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL), with the BMC providing the entire funding.

Currently there isn’t any connectivity to the Mumbai Coastal road open spaces & CR promenade from any public transportation network, & the pedestrian link aims to create the same.

The proposal is scheduled to come before the civic standing committee for an approval on August 19.

@advbharatchugh @khadijakhan55 All the more important for high courts having original jurisdiction. The sanctioned strength and working strength in the Bombay high court is a joke. Matters from a huge state plus original matters in the commercial capital of the country and we have only a handful of judges.
