@DHSgov my own experience working in an ER that treats people in ICE custody begs to differ, specifically a girl with sepsis admitted to PCU level of care and a diabetic man who was withheld his insulin for a week admitted for DKA. both treatable with “comprehensive medical services”
the Supreme Court probably doesn’t believe in Trump’s insane tactics of threatening countries with insane tariffs (that Americans are still paying) that change daily. there’s no stability in that. many businesses can’t handle that much volatility
Today, the Supreme Court decided that Congress, despite giving the president the ability to "regulate imports", didn't actually mean it. This is lawlessness from the Court, plain and simple. And its only effect will be to make it harder for the president to protect American industries and supply chain resiliency.
President Trump has a wide range of other tariff powers and he will use them to defend American workers and advance this administration’s trade priorities.
“I hope I've demonstrated that you can face anything, you can face the end of your days, you can face hell with dignity. Fight, girls, and hold your heads high. Billie and Georgia, you are my heart, you are my everything. Goodnight. I love you.
Eric Dane leaves his daughters — and the world — with one final message in Famous Last Words.
i have the privilege and honor of caring for people in some of the scariest moments of their life, on the brink of death, and in their final moments, and eric dane was exactly right. climb ur mountain, find ur beach, enjoy every single moment as you experience it
NEW: Actor Eric Dane, who passed away following a battle with ALS, records one final message for his teenage daughters.
Dane recorded the interview with Netflix in secret, knowing it would be released after his passing.
"Billie and Georgia, these words are for you. I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried. Overall, we had a blast, didn't we?"
"I remember all the times we spent at the beach, the two of you, me, and mom..."
"I want to tell you four things I've learned from this disease, and I hope you won't just listen to me. I hope you'll hear me."
"Live now, right now, in the present. It's hard, but I learned to do that for years."
"I would wander off mentally lost in my head for long chunks of time, wallowing in worry and self-pity, shame and doubt, and replay decisions. Second-guess myself. 'I should have done this. I never should have done that.' No more."
RIP.

this is stupid. you’re coming to the emergency room for emergency services. doctors know what care you need in an emergency, whereas you probably don’t know what you need. use non-emergency alternatives if it’s not a medical emergency :) hope this helps
.@SecKennedy: “Every hospital in the country is now going to have to publish their prices…If you go to a restaurant and look at the menu, the prices are there. Health care is the only place where you can’t see your prices.”
If the @NFL doesn’t immediately switch the halftime show from whoever “Bad Bunny” is, they will see the largest viewership drop in Super Bowl history.
The boycott will be bigger than the game itself.
Heck, I’ll boycott anyone who advertises.
Change the show, or we change the channel.
@shagbargh noooo it’s the same class of medicine as advil and naproxen. only difference is that ketoralac/toradol (same med) is given as a shot or IV so works faster, stronger. can’t take it for more than 5 days ish because it’ll ruin your kidneys
fyi toradol is just an IV NSAID (same class of medicine as ibuprofen). very effective, non opiate, safe short term but can’t use it long term bc it’ll wreck your kidneys :)
The Broncos are “seriously considering” putting Bo Nix on Ketorolac, a heavy painkiller, to get him to play through his broken ankle injury.
Nix is questionable to start vs the Patriots on Sunday.
