The patriarchy that is outlined in the Bible does not look like what many people are portraying it to be.

Women are not second class citizens. If you believe that then you have already failed.

When one understands that men and women are equal as human beings and have equal access to God, then the patriarchy can be properly understood.

Equal as a human being means that one is not more human than the other. Both are fully human and have equal rights under the law of God.

Men and women are different physically and mentally. They are designed to think differently based on the biological roles that God created them for.

Men do not understand the experience of women, women do not understand the experiences of men.

Men excel in visual spatial perception because we are designed to deal with the external environment while the woman in her role as a mother is focused on the internal environment, this is heightened when a child is in that newborn/baby phase of life.

Men are better at reading actions and patterns of behaviour because that is how we communicate, and are designed to visually see changes in our families so that we can meet their needs without communicating with them.

This ability is what makes us extremely effective protectors.

For the patriarchy to effectively work a man must lead by example and not make the mistakes that other men made before them.

Polygamy was a disaster for the patriarchs. It created more problems and Abraham was told by God to put away Hagar because he foolishly took another wife. The fallout from that stupid decision is still being felt today.

A man by his actions when done correctly will draw out submission from the woman when he creates the circumstances for her to thrive and become a better version of herself.

This takes time, patience and careful observation to assess whether this woman is a compatible match that a man can successfully do this.

One cannot have their judgment clouded by getting in bed with a woman before this assessment is made. It will skew the man’s judgment.

There is more to it, but this should give a little glimpse of the direction that things should be going in.

@Serahelita1 I never understood too until I had 4 kids. My youngest is only 7 months old so the other three shocked me a few days ago, 3kg oranges & 2kg apples all finished in three days. They have been without fruits since, i’ll only restock next week.
