@NatashaBhatiaMD This is called the “disability paradox” and is unfortunately an issue in BI well. WOLST is the leading cause of death in patients with perceived devastating brain injury and misconceptions on quality of life after brain injury impacts decision making for clinicians and families.

This past month I had an incredible experience working in the outpatient clinic at TIRR, absorbing all the knowledge from famous Brain Injury physiatrist @cbivanhoe. My biggest takeaway: Normal pressure hydrocephalus in the brain injured patient is ultimately a clinical diagnosis
