We concluded the 4th Africa Forward Summit with a magnificent celebration of African fashion, music, and dance at the Kasarani Indoor Arena, showcasing some of the continent’s most distinguished designers, acclaimed music stars, and emerging young artistes.
The performances were a beautiful expression of the richness and diversity of Africa’s cultural heritage, the immense promise of our continent, and the extraordinary talent, innovation, and creativity of our youth.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Kenya, I once again extend our sincere appreciation to all participants, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders whose invaluable contribution ensured the success of this historic summit.
We convey our special gratitude to our co-host, President Emmanuel Macron of France, for his steadfast support and commitment to championing a renewed and forward-looking partnership between Africa and France.
Asanteni sana. Karibuni Kenya tena.

The development of the Bomas International Convention Complex (BICC) in Lang'ata is repositioning Nairobi not just as a Capital City, but as a regional socio-economic hub and gateway for global commerce, diplomacy and high-level engagements.
As an ultra-modern Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) facility, the project signals Kenya's growing stature in hosting world-class international events.
The project is being executed by a workforce of over 3,000 personnel operating in continuous shifts, with a deliberate focus on inclusive job creation, engaging youth and women across skilled, semi-skilled and support roles.
Designed as one of the largest convention centres in East and Central Africa, it will accommodate up to 11,000 delegates across 35 meeting rooms, supported by a 5,000-seat main auditorium and a 3,500-seat secondary hall.
A Presidential Pavilion will host up to 30 heads of state, while an integrated hospitality zone will feature multiple hotels, retail spaces and complementary facilities, including an animal orphanage.
Supporting infrastructure is advancing in tandem, including the Bomas Ring Road, with foundation works underway to enhance access from Lang'ata Road and streamline traffic circulation.
The complex will also be linked to the nearby Raila Odinga International Stadium, enabling seamless movement during major events.
A structured parking system at the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) precinct will further support visitor management, with controlled transit into the main facility via the ring road network.
The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration is enhancing the facility's operational readiness by coordinating secure event management systems, facilitating seamless VIP movement and integrating smart surveillance and access control measures, ensuring the BICC operates as a safe, efficient and globally competitive convention hub. A new chapter in telling Kenya’s story to the world.
Magical Kenya – Come Experience the Wonder.
Our latest cinematic brand film, “The Origin of Wonder,” invites the world to see Kenya not just as a destination, but as a place of connection where nature, culture, rhythm, and humanity come together in a profound and timeless way.
This film is not simply about showcasing attractions. It is a sensory journey that captures the spirit of our nation, the landscapes that inspire awe, the cultures that carry our heritage, and the rhythms that define who we are.
Kenya is more than a place you visit.
It is a place you feel.
A place that reminds us of something ancient within ourselves. Our Origin.
As Magical Kenya we welcome the world to rediscover wonder. Wonder in our wildlife, our people, our cultures, and our breathtaking beautiful landscapes.
Karibu Kenya. Come experience the wonder.

The NIFC is pleased to announce the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (@QFCAuthority) this afternoon, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Daniel Mainda, Chief Executive Officer of NIFCA, and Mr. Yousuf Al-Jaida, Chief Executive Officer of QFCA.
This partnership builds on a decade-long relationship that began when the Ministry of Finance of the State of Qatar through Kenya’s National Treasury, provided technical support in establishing the NIFC, making Qatar a key partner present at the very inception of the NIFC’s story.
This renewed collaboration aims to enhance cross-border investment, innovation and financial cooperation through the respective international financial centres.
Through this agreement, the NIFC and QFC reaffirm their commitment to global best practices and to fostering sustainable, inclusive growth across Africa and the Middle East.

Kenya is richly endowed with immense talent across the sporting spectrum; from soccer, volleyball, cricket, and rugby to athletics and many more.
Yet, this potential has not been fully harnessed. That is why we are working tirelessly, hand in hand with our partners, to identify and nurture talent from the grassroots, ensuring every gifted Kenyan has the opportunity to shine.
We aspire to elevate Kenya into the ranks of global sporting powerhouses, where our athletes compete and triumph on the world stage.
At State House, Nairobi, engaged CEOs on this vision to rally private sector leadership, investment, and collaboration in positioning Kenya as a true global sports powerhouse.
We had a remarkable run. Harambee Stars have silenced doubters, lifted the spirit of a nation, and reminded us that when Kenyans play with courage, confidence, and determination, nothing is impossible.
Yes, we bowed out at the quarter-finals — but we fought valiantly to the very end. To lose in the lottery of penalties is no dishonour; to push the contest to such a finish is itself a badge of greatness.
We congratulate Madagascar on their victory. Yet throughout this tournament, our boys displayed resilience, grit, and an indomitable will. Every Kenyan is proud of you. You have united the country, given us moments of joy, and lifted our hopes.
Though we exit the tournament, we remain the proud co-hosts of the historic Pamoja CHAN. Let us continue to fill Kasarani with cheer, energy, pride, and love for the game — all the way to the final whistle.
For our boys, the journey does not end here. Let us carry the lessons of this campaign into the road ahead, as we prepare for an even more spectacular Africa Cup of Nations in 2027.
Kenya shall rise. Kenya shall triumph.
