@1JasonLutz@JonKrawczynski Honest question. How much of the job is it of a head coach to develop young talent? Like how much time during the season do you think the head coach, of any team, works with and develops a young player?
@spritery00@JaceFrederick@etspaceman89 And if we couldn't inbound the ball or challenge a play because we didnt have a timeout you'd be complain about that. If the Julius drive to end reg. went out with time remaining could have gotten a prox. foul on challenge. Always other variables.
@JakeLaymanStan@jrborman13@iam_mo32 Clark can run the point and bones can chase a great shooter around screens? Zero surprise Mike started with the guys we had out and the match up with Shephard. Clark and Bones do not do the same things as Conley
@spritery00@JaceFrederick@etspaceman89 Best player out, two best defenders out of the game, 6th man ejected. Playing two guys that were waived and a guy on a minimum to complete the biggest OT comeback ever. Incompetence
@PerryScott6770@Chilz_otr@JordanDye You are entitled to not agree with their philosophy but when people are mad/surprised when Joan doesn't go in in that situation I don't get it. Kerr isn't perfect either with his approach. They haven't developed their young guys and their fans call for Kerr's head. Long season...
@PerryScott6770@Chilz_otr@JordanDye But that's not this coaching staffs philosophy/plan. My original point has nothing to do with what I think about Joan. The backup plan for Rudy is Naz, Randle, and Jaden going into the game and has been all season. That doesn't change when Rudy get ejected.
@Chilz_otr@JordanDye He has played in 9 games. All garbage time. He is not part of the rotation and not part of the game plan. If Rudy was out for an extended period of time then maybe they would adjust. Going into the game he is not option A,B,C or D so he's not going in when Rudy goes out.
@Chilz_otr@JordanDye Why would you think Joan, who hasn't played all year, would be thrown into the middle of a game? He was not drafted to play this year.
@HoodieNaz_ You thought that they were going to throw the rookie who hasn't played at all into the middle of the game when Rudy got ejected? The guy we drafted as a project because we already had other young players who needed time? If you actually thought he was getting in you have no clue.
The Timberwolves shot 7/47 from 3 tonight, the worst 3PT% (14.9%) in NBA playoff history when a team had at least 34 attempts.
Minnesota missed 18-straight. For perspective, Houston shot 15.9% (7/44) in its infamous 0/27 Game 7 loss. The Wolves shot worse but pulled out the win.
Coach JJ Redick did a great job all season but he didn’t do a good job for Game 1. The Lakers stood around on offense, played too much one-on-one basketball, and he didn’t make any necessary adjustments.
@streethistory Club is a spring/summer sport, so kids that are finishing up 6th grade and going into 7th. 7th graders can start trying out for the high-school B&C teams in the fall.
Chris Finch's emotions tonight was apparently a carry over from a diatribe of a film session today.
Julius Randle: "You should've seen him this morning."
Nickeil Alexander-Walker: "He woke up choosing violence. ... Everybody was getting yelled at."
