Kenya Finance Bill, 2026, is set to significantly accelerate the tax filing calendar.
General Deadline Change: From June 30 to April 30: The deadline for filing annual income tax returns is being moved forward by two months.
The Bill amends Sections 52 and 52B of the Income Tax Act, replacing the current "six-month" filing window with a shorter "four-month" window.
