lol, so if I can provide my own insanely long reply to your original post, I’d like to say this. If you look at anything I’ve said on the ND issue, it’s that ND was on the wrong side of “head to head matters” both in 93 when it didn’t, and this year when it allegedly did.

I don’t care if Alabama lost by 100, you don’t get kicked out of the new 12 game playoff for losing a CC game. If head to head is the new standard, again, it sucks to be on the wrong side of it again, but so be it. Instead, ND isn’t in the playoff because the ACC was never going to be without a team in it as a power 4 conference. I wish they would just say that, because while shitty, that’s easier to take and rationalize than all the other nonsense they are trying to pedal.

That said, i appreciate the work you put into it, and I get what you’re trying to say. Either way, Go Irish!

Danny, 1 time, just once be honest. Miami started the ND/Miami nonsense when they were 3 spots apart. Any logical person would expect them to make a case why Miami is better than BYU and Bama. In what world do you start going after a team that’s not even directly ahead of you first? The comment was that ND was “singled out.” For the love of God just once be an honest person and acknowledge that the comparisons should have been Miami v BYU, Bama, and ND at least, and instead it wasn’t. Please have an ounce of integrity to admit that.

No one, including ND fans, is saying that the ACC should have promoted ND, if they do the should be beaten in the center of South Bend, so stop reducing this to something so freaking stupid.
