@samesfandiari@sportslarryk What they should have done is rather bit the bullet and trade for AD (whatever Wizards were asking for) or tell LeBron weeks ago it’s either come here or don’t but we’re moving on after this date. But this trying to get the best of all worlds has made their offseason an S show
@DKThomp I recommend listening to this podcast episode. It’s two techies who talk about how they see AI in the future doing things for them, but it touches on a lot of issues around human interaction. Very interesting https://t.co/JW5JH6Oxig
@smithy05261244 Can I ask a stupid question? Why would the officers do a recent sale if they were planning to sell the company? Or are you just saying Merck takes a bigger stake?
@samesfandiari The worst thing to happen was the Warriors got Jimmy for barely anything. Now they think they have to win every trade by a mile rather than thinking strategically at all
@samesfandiari Just think about that. The Warriors are gonna run scenarios by LeBron to see if this gets him to come there. Like, if we get Trey Murphy will you sign? LeBron is their defacto GM this offseason
@AndyKHLiu Dunleavy sure seems to be operating shrewdly. First KP signs, everyone freaks out until they learn the details of the optionality. Then everyone wonders wtf they’re gonna do about SG, then Melton back on team friendly deal. Worst case he has options if LJ isn’t coming
@BontaHill He’s in that mid tier free agent guard where most teams want to save for a star or just pay really low salaries. He wanted money. Watch what Simons and Sexton get. It’ll be lower than you think
@cremieuxrecueil The incentive to make a crap ton of money right now from a cure far outweighs the long term incentive to just drug people for life….but we can all agree the incentive to repurpose cheap drugs that work isn’t as high as either
@EricTopol @NotebookLM How do they know how many cancers they prevented would have been prevented by the body versus would have actually turned into cancer? Is that quantifiable?
