Tech can be socially impactful but when we create new systems (AI, blockchain, quantum) if we don’t design inclusive teams and technology we risk institutionalizing all the social harms of prior systems. Also, can’t fix tech with more tech.
@justcallmetroy@StigAbell We should focus on contextualizing literature that makes folks uncomfortable - so that it is better understood and we work towards resolving difficult issues raised - rather than censorship eradicating the history that led to its creation.
The killer KPI that nobody talks about is predictability.
Companies that hit targets quarter after quarter dramatically outperform the ones that don't. Shows that they know their business insanely well, and gives investors enormous trust that they'll deliver in the future.

Why dont banks have an updated and customized pov of their clients? My bank didnt know what my job is. What industry (Hu?), for some reason kept all these limitations on my account (so they could take fees) which I don’t even need. If retention is key how is this not #1 priority
I think the real surprise will be mass adoption of privacy-forward consumer products and services, with tech staying ahead of policy/law (eg encryption)
If we can’t even acknowledge structural racism and sexism in today’s systems then how could we possibly ensure bias won’t be hardwired into the next generation of AI and tech? (spoiler alert)
