ED consultants office. 3 episodes of consultants trapped in office, one for 30 mins till rescued by security whilst on call. No sign of estates for 3 days. “Fixed” by visiting orthopod 🙄

No warning, no explanation, no advice, we had to work it all out.
Accountant didn't know, HMRC advice line didn't know (actually gave incorrect advice ) and our union didn't know either.
Scheme pays didn't exist that year.
Still angry.

@ronansetron When I were a lad, somebody complained about having to remove a label poorly taped to the anaesthetic SpR bleep which read "PAN-HOSPITAL ACOPIA SERVICE".
I agreed this was not a good use of their time.
So I reprinted and reattached it with skin glue AND tape for added security.
We cannot return to a situation where large number of senior doctors risk #PayingToWork
