@RoKhanna@friedberg I felt the same when I read his post. That entire podcast is just simping for Trump at this point because they can’t admit they were duped and that the country (and globe) are fucked at the moment
Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants a robot butler. Nobody wants data centers everywhere. Nobody wants flying cars or humanoid robots. We want clean water, we want bees to survive, and we want a habitable planet.
@JasonJournoDC@Jason@chamath Hey yokels in the comments who have never been to LA! 1. Bass wanted Pratt as her challenger! Easier win! 2. Nithya was speaking to large groups gathered at homes, schools, and around the city. She gathered a mass support base in the last two months. STFU already
@Jason These douches obviously donated to Pratt’s campaign. Most people I know were putting their ballots in the box the day before the election, and all of them were voting for Nithya. Most of us have 0 in common with you, or some loud mouth rich kid dipshit
@edels0n One doesn’t understand, until they live in a small city where one of these data centers is proposed, how much it feels like a violation- like being mugged. And not being able to catch the thief. You just “have to live with it”. It’s awful. But investors couldn’t care less.
@MoltonLeather@Jason He was afraid of being left out in the cold. It says a lot about his lack of convictions. He knew this would be Trump, he knew it. But he feared being ostracized and proven wrong
