$FACT Nodes are live on the FluxCloud Marketplace! đ„
The Factor team collaborated with us to lower the barrier for their community to run decentralized nodes and strengthen the Factor network.
Start at $7.30/month for 3 Factor node servers đ

The Factor Ecosystem in one picture.
A global marketplace where computational power, cryptography research, and national security needs meet.
âïžMiners contribute secure compute.
đ§źMathematicians and cryptographers submit broken RSA keys and audit results.
đïžGovernments gain verifiable key audits with transparent bounties.
đ°Private sector investment fuels the entire cycle.
Factor turns RSA key auditing into a decentralized, incentive-driven ecosystem that strengthens digital security for nations and institutions.
Built for miners, researchers, and governments.
Designed for the future of cryptographic assurance.

When a new project appears near the top of a profitability table, most miners only see a ticker, a symbol and a few numbers: revenue per day, power, hashrate.
Behind $FACT, sitting today among the most profitable coins for CPUs like the Ryzen 7950X, there is a quiet story of engineering work that almost no one sees: a redefinition of what âhashrateâ even means for a nonâhashing network, a reworked pool backend, and a long backâandâforth with the team at @HashrateNO to make everything line up correctly.
At the center of that work is Alex, @_fact_dog_, FACTORâs mining ambassador.
This is how FACTOR made it onto https://t.co/SkclLZT9hw, and why that matters for miners who care about both their revenue and the kind of work their CPUs are actually doing.

Mexico is moving from paper IDs to a unified digital identity backbone; e.Firma, Llave MX, and the new biometric CURP.
All of it rests on #RSA.
How do we know these keys are as strong in practice as they are on paper?
Factor provides the strategy and the tooling, tiered audits, real-world stress tests, and a clear path to measuring RSA strength across critical systems.

We want to thank Liina Areng - the director of EU Cybernet and president of LAC4- and her team for hosting such a great conference this year and making us part of their mission: borderless resilience.
At FACTOR, proper cryptography and crypto-currencies combine to make the borderless mission join the resilience mission with a blockchain platform to deliver cryptographic services to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean who do not have an NSA-like institution to do cryptanalysis for their infrastructure - yet.

A new miner version, 4.4, is now live.
We have fully reworked how machine performance is measured. The miner now reports hashrates that make it easy to compare performance across different workers.
Example log output:
21-11-2025 07:20:33.707 INFO Hashrates [current/1h/24h]: 1871/1876/1910 rels/s.
Shares: 90, Uptime: 0 days, 11 hours, 20 minutes.
A well performing 7950X will usually sit around 1900 rels per second.
These hashrates are now sent directly to the pool, as shown in the screenshot. Logging has also been cleaned up and reorganized.
To update, run this command inside your worker folder:
wget -O update_worker.sh https://t.co/Bh9LOpi8wD && bash update_worker.sh
The poolâs worker overview has also been overhauled. Online and offline workers now appear in separate lists, which makes it much easier to spot problem machines.
Next on the roadmap: automatic updates. Once that rolls out, the worker will keep itself up to date without requiring manual installs.

Factor Core Features
#7 Decentralized Incentives: Rewards Tied Directly to Provable Computational Work
What it is
Factorâs incentive model links rewards directly to mathematical proof. When miners or solvers factor a semiprime, they submit verifiable proof on-chain. The protocol checks the result and issues rewards only when the factors are correct. No trusted parties, no subjective evaluation, and no probabilistic guessing. The work proves itself, and the chain honors it.
Why it matters
Most distributed compute or Proof-of-Work systems reward participation indirectly. Some rely on probabilistic block discovery. Others depend on centralized platforms to validate work. These models can be exploited or skewed by luck, hardware scale, or opaque verification. Factor takes a different approach. It pays only for verified, reproducible mathematical outcomes. This creates an economic system rooted in accuracy, transparency, and provable contribution.
What this means for users
Your reward is based entirely on results. If you solve the problem and the math is correct, the protocol pays you. There is no approval queue or manual verification. There is no platform owner deciding who qualifies. Every user competes on the same mathematical terms, and every reward is backed by proof recorded in the block itself.
Applicable Sectors and Markets
âą Blockchain Protocol Design
âą Scientific and Mathematical Computing
âą Zero Trust Research Environments
âą Decentralized Work Networks
âą Cryptographic Tooling and Verification Systems
Benefits to Users
âïž Miners earn rewards only for valid solutions, which removes ambiguity and reinforces merit-based participation.
đ§ Researchers can rely on on-chain proofs to validate results and timestamp discoveries.
đ§âđ» Developers can build applications that trigger logic based on verified factorization events.
đŻ Bounty creators no longer need to evaluate or manually judge submissions. The protocol enforces correctness automatically.
đą Institutions gain an auditable record of computational work with no need for a mediator or authority.
đ The entire ecosystem benefits from a transparent reward model driven by math, accountability, and verifiable output.
