@edmontonjournal The platform was filled with people who had coffees in hand, and somehow this guy was the only one who had to have his drink sniffed and then dumped even though it passed this officer’s high calibre sniff test. 🙄

@edmontonjournal Many times I’ve seen officers reprimand Indigenous ppl that are minding their own business. The most ridiculous was when a guy standing next to me was carrying a coffee cup, similar to mine, and an officer made him dump it (after smelling it) bc “no open liquids on the platform”.
