Zojila Tunnel - Engineers achieve the breakthrough blast on the 13.15 km Zojila Tunnel, India's highest and one of its most challenging road tunnel projects.
Once operational, it will provide all-weather connectivity between Kashmir and Ladakh, ending the annual winter isolation caused by heavy snowfall and temperatures that usually plunge below -30°C.
The tunnel expected to be ready for military use by December 2026, with civilian traffic targeted for February 2028 though Gadkari hints efforts are underway to advance the timeline.
The impact will be transformational: Srinagar–Ladakh travel time will fall from over 2 hours to just 15 minutes across the Zojila stretch, while year-round connectivity will boost tourism, logistics, local livelihoods and military mobility along one of India's most strategic corridors. via @IndianExpress
In any sane country, this would be a recruitment poster, not a subject of outrage.

Underrated life advice: Have a place where you go to think. A porch. A trail. A coffee shop. A park bench. Somewhere your mind knows it's time to slow down. Most people spend their lives searching for answers. Few create the conditions for answers to appear.

The Delhi High Court just ruled against Google in a trademark case that every Indian founder needs to know about!!
Hindware sued because searches for "Hindware" returned competitor ads - Cera, Grohe, above their own listing. Customers looking specifically for Hindware were being intercepted at the moment of highest intent.
The court ruled it trademark infringement. Competitor keyword bidding on your brand name is now legally actionable in India.
Search your brand name on Google right now.
If a competitor's ad appears before yours, you have a case, and your competitor has a problem.
This reshapes performance marketing in India. Keyword bidding on competitor names is standard practice across every category - beauty, fintech, edtech, D2C.
The brands doing it most aggressively are also the ones most exposed to this ruling. Let's see how this pans out.

Awesome. Mumbai city authorities cleared 6 metres of legacy garbage from Asia's largest dumpyard, built a 12-hectare power plant on it, and it will soon generate 8 MW of electricity from 600 tonnes of trash every day.
Every Indian city needs one. Demonstrable proof that India's waste crisis has a solution.
