The West Yorkshire police video is horrible, but as someone who works with kids, I don't find it surprising. One of my colleagues, who is also an EMT ambulance worker, said "those kids" meaning disabled kids of any type "don't belong in normal classes".
About six year olds.
It's not new, it's not because of hate speech legislation, it's nothing but the response to the othering bullshit that faces marginalised people if they are not seen to be behaving "correctly".
I'm going to go for a furious lie down now.
Also, if it makes it easier on you, watch the video with the sound off, or don't watch it, because I'm now shaking and stressed and rocking a bit. And remembering when I had a meltdown in (private) hospital and the nurses took my phone out of the room with them.
@GizzarkHenry@QueerlyAutistic Practical effects showed a practical answer... And animation in Frozen gave us a possible Dyatlov's Pass answer. Love it when humans trip over our own history like that.
