Based on conversations with eyewitnesses and a hospital surgeon in Tehran, I can confirm that the number of people killed last night in Tehran, Karaj, and Shahriar is significant.

The surgeon said, “I was in the operating room all night,” and confirmed that “the number of protesters killed is higher than during the 12-day war.”
