So many vehicles parked. The only reason for this bottle neck at Munirka market before Rao Tula ram @dtptraffic please don’t allow this. Station someone permanently here. It’s essential
Major chaos at Munirka before Rao Tula ram again due to the market and the cars stopping. This needs a permanent solution @CAQM_Official@dtptraffic so much pollution fumes waste of time
technique brushing mud & collecting garbage in spots should be stopped. A person collects & other person picks up. Mostly isn’t picked up at all & is spread out again. We need large Vaccum cleaners to suck the mud and dust. Just flying dust it is bad @CAQM_Official@Warriormomsin
jam on rose garden road opposite IIT everyday. needs urgent intervention. There r vehicles parked near the SDA market. Not allowed. Major long queues of traffic everyday @dtptraffic imagine the pollution. Vehicles are a major source of this we need action @CAQM_Official
Welcome to Meerut! Oops I mean delhi.. I mean the prime property in delhi.. vasant vihar
Keep it up @MCD_Delhi@mssirsa@DelhiPwd@gupta_rekha these banners should be strictly banned. Let’s not make our delhi a third tier city :( @Warriormomsin imagine pollution when disposed
Can feel drastic change in air quality since yesterday. Festival important not at cost of health. other ways to celebrate. Also people having their own ravan effigy and local colony too.. there is no rationing or checking! So much pollution everywhere! #healthfirst#familyfirst
Your Lordship, the effigy & crackers burn for minutes but the toxic air stays with our children for hours & days.
Is this really a festival of victory?
#Dussehra
Hon’ble Courts, “green crackers” are not pollution free crackers. Studies have reported 30–60% reductions in particulate emissions in certain formulations; but a reduction is not elimination, nor proof of safety. A Delhi study found a 138% increase in particle number concentration on Diwali, highlighting concerns about ultrafine particles that conventional air quality monitoring may not adequately capture.
The Supreme Court has also prohibited barium salts in fireworks. Any proposal to revisit such formulations demands rigorous, independent testing and full transparency.
Please look beyond the label “green”. Assess real-world exposure, ultrafine particles, toxic metals and cumulative health impacts; especially for our children, the elderly and people with respiratory conditions.
The right to celebrate cannot eclipse the right to breathe😢
#GreenSmoke #ग्रीनधुआँ
Can already feel the smoke in our beautiful city. Would request the authorities to consider complete ban of crackers & also removal of the polluting industries in NCR. Some strong measures have to be adopted. Vehicular traffic problem @CMODelhi@SupremeCourtIND@CPCB_OFFICIAL
“People will take it as coercive action”, but what about children forced to breathe toxic air?
The Supreme Court cannot let enforcement fears outweigh the right to health. Religious sentiments deserve respect, but more importantly, so does the fundamental right to life. When pollution harms millions, weak enforcement is not pragmatism.
It is a failure of protection!!!!
@LiveLawIndia@barandbench
Have been waiting for 28 minutes and counting to get a booking at @MaxHealthcare I am shocked at the value of time and people! It’s shameful! This is the fourth call and I really tried to be patient! But this is ridiculous. Such a shame
True! Farmers cannot be expected to bear the cost of solving a pollution crisis created by a broken agricultural system.
Paying farmers a guaranteed, quality linked price for paddy straw could turn stubble from a pollution problem into a valuable resource; provided procurement, storage & end use markets are assured.
Warrior Moms has long demanded tangible incentives for farmers, grassroots involvement through gram panchayats, and accountability for governments to provide and maintain crop residue management, also in terms of incentivising farmers to return to manual harvesting methods.

@letsblinkit@blinkitcares may I know the use of having plastic covering on coconut ?? It’s wastage of plastic. It’s is non biodegradable and it is not required. So much pollution for no reason. Let’s be kind to our environment and mindful. This is not acceptable. @fssaiindia
Major jam Munirka flyover due to carelessly parked vehicles. This is not a parking spot. The people have to be heavily fined. There is no concrete step being taken to stop this. Everyday I post @dtptraffic this stretch took 20 minutes to cross. It’s terrible. Need accountability
The intersection which is going towards Vasant vihar marg is chaos every day because the service lane. It should be a compulsory left whereas people obstruct that and want to go on the main road straight bypassing the traffic. Leading to bottle neck everyday @dtptraffic request
Subsidising pollution control is not the same as preventing pollution.
If industries in NCR are to receive 30–40% public subsidy for installing pollution control devices, scheme must come with strict conditions like measurable emission reductions, real-time data transparency, third party verification & consequences for non compliance.
Major jam caused by a careless auto driver who parked on the main road and is sleeping inside the vehicle. They should be made aware of the consequences. There is a massive jam over the flyover coz of this. Munirka to Rao Tula ram stretch as shared many times @dtptraffic
@dtptraffic Yes sir. Also the market is a big cause. The IIT red light also is terrible which leads to major backlog. Some long term solution should be devised sir.
Major traffic on rose garden Road. Traffic is barely crawling. Needs urgent intervention @dtptraffic this is an everyday affair and would request a sustainable solution for the same. So much fumes so much time waste so much pollution
