Scunthorpe United is devastated to learn of the prospect of a consultation with steelworkers working in the local area, with 2,700 jobs confirmed as being at risk as early as June 2025.

As such, we are putting on a ticketing offer applicable to all steelworkers this Saturday, with adults able to attain a ticket for just £10. All you need to do to take advantage of this offer is show some identification that you are an employee of British Steel.

The town of Scunthorpe has faced many challenges in its history, and it is through unity and shared commitment that we will navigate the future. The steelworks are integral to our heritage and our future. Let us continue to stand together, working to secure a prosperous and sustainable future for Scunthorpe and its steel industry.
