Yesterday, Google removed KW data from PAID campaigns, knowing advertisers have no choice but to stick with 'em. Sure, they're showing your ads for irrelevant searches, but with 95%+ of the search market, where you gonna go?

@bhalligan Of course. I have already had a couple of calls with various members of the product team this year but happy to provide further input if helpful.
@bhalligan This breaks the engagment trail and atteivtuon modelling. It would be great just to be able to mark a contact as not marketable too but still he able to keep them in the CRM.
@bhalligan I've been using HubpSpot for a number of years and it's become a pretty huge piece of software and I think that is partly to its detriment. The product updates cover a multitude of areas and I watch them religiously.
@bhalligan There really needs to be a way to mark contacts as not marketable too for true ROI analysis. As with all marketers I need to stick to a budget and one of the ways I try to do that is to keep within our contacts limit this means I end up deleting some contacts that may later buy.
@bhalligan There are lots of things to love about HubSpot but I feel that some if the really important stuff for marketers is starting to get overlooked as the rest of the flywheel picks up pace yet this is by far the biggest part of the license fee which is getting pretty hefty these days.
@bhalligan The way mutlipe scripts run to is also so starting to cause quote a bit of slowdown on page speed. Scripts for a chat bots, an exit intent, an embedded form + the tracking code starts getting really heavy.
@bhalligan The workflows builder is now starting to feel pretty dated as does the landing page tool. The email tool is lacking the dynamic functionality of other players in the market for a fraction of the price.
In 2019, I did a 100 million yen giveaway on Twitter (1M yen to 100 winners). I hold the record for the most retweeted tweet.
In 2020, I did a giveaway of up to 1 billion yen.
This social experiment will study the effects of UBI.
Will you be happier if you were given 1M yen?
As a startup, always bias toward simple. Customers will tell you when your product doesn't do enough, but will never ask for fewer features when they stop using your product because it's too complex.
