@saermer Those money aren't going to the servers. You don't need that amount of money to handle them. Also those money go into improving server quality because who cares when they already charge a subscription. It's just a way to get more money from people and add another source of FOMO
@claviska But my first reaction was: can't you just fire a global event and make everything subscribe to it. You rarely need it, that's a niche specific problem. Yet it was solved on another level of complexity.
@claviska Interesting, this is the famous problem of "middle developers create unnecessary complexity". I remember, when React was announced, their selling point was that it helped sync data/their notification counters. Then turned out it wasn't enough and Flux was needed.
