There is a hadith that says your sins are written on your body.
Not metaphorically.
Literally.
And the Prophet ﷺ described exactly where they show up.
You’re not reading this by accident. Allah wants you to recite these 5 du’as for rizq, debt relief, barakah, and open doors.
Whether you’re struggling, rebuilding, or just starting, these du’as are for you. And watch what Allah opens.
You’ve heard about the Day of Arafah your entire life.
You know it’s “a powerful day.”
You know people fast on it.
You know millions gather there during Hajj.
But do you actually know what “Arafah” means?
Sometimes male anger at ‘women getting special treatment’ reminds me of a gorilla experiment. One gorilla gets a banana every hour. The females next to him get one every four hours. Then someone decides to be ‘fairer’ and gives the females a banana every two hours instead. The original gorilla? He flips out. He’s still getting his banana every hour, but it feels like a loss because his advantage shrank.
That’s how a lot of men react to basic fairness for women: not as justice, but as theft.
Allah describes the human experience with a single, heavy word:
"Kabad" (کبد)
It doesn't mean peace.
It doesn't mean happiness.
It explains exactly why you are tired.
There is a Contract in the Qur'an that terrified the Universe.
The Sky refused to sign it, the Earth refused to sign it, the Mountains refused to sign it.
But you signed it.
So my mom is shopping in a supermarket, wearing a full hijab and jilbab (commonly misnamed as a burka) and the whole time she is there, this kid is staring at her. Won't stop staring. Just looking with wide-eyed shock.
The lil feller isn't any older than four. She doesn't think much of it, she is used to far worse than just a few stares. Until the very end when the kid and his mom are behind her in the checkout, and he leans up and whispers loudly: "I LOVE YOU BATMAN"
Survival mode turned on for a while, and I have been feeling tired lately, but seeing how horribly this occupation wants me died.. makes me think of the importance of our spirit, patience and long term resistance.. ANYWAYS, these are wild plants from Gaza saying: “we are here”!
