I've been taking care of my mom. She's been experiencing increased pain.

My mom was pushed from behind by a complete stranger on Grant Ave in Chinatown on Saturday, in broad daylight. She did not know the person and did absolutely nothing to provoke this attack. The attacker ran away while she was lying on the ground.

Thank you to the many Good Samaritans who stopped to help my mom and helped her get back up. We are very grateful for your kindness and compassion.

She filed a police report and sought medical attention. It's incredibly upsetting and unacceptable. No senior, or anyone, deserves to be randomly attacked by a stranger for walking down the street.

Please be careful and look out for one another, especially our seniors. Stay safe, everyone. 🙏
