Everyone has a right to be uncomfortable with anything in fiction but if you're a fan of something with dark themes in it shaming those who like dark themes in a sexual way because you write them in a "more nuanced way and you're not fetishzing fiction" it is very silly to me
This is how I feel about the non-ToT HYV gacha I played 😭 Even now, I could care less about Genshin Inpact from an emotional perspective, but some of those characters I still carry in my heart
IMO, it's fine to be like "I'm looking for a story with an f/f (or m/m) relationship as the endgame; can you tell me if this book fits that?"
But folks are straight up calling bisexual wlw romances "queerbaiting" bc the bisexual MC is actually shown being bisexual beyond theory.
