“As doctors, we know that prevention is better than cure.”
For several days, doctors and FMGE aspirants have been protesting at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Park in Gautam Nagar, Delhi, over alleged irregularities in the FMGE exam held in June 2026.
The protesters allege that the examination pattern was changed without prior intimation and that video-based questions were introduced unexpectedly. Following protests at the Jantar Mantar protest site, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) acknowledged irregularities and assured aspirants that such issues would not be repeated in future examinations.
However, aspirants have begun fresh protests as the key demand for compensation for the aspirants who appeared in the FMGE remains unmet.

But it is a moment of horror that a peaceful Tiranga March has been stopped by SHO Hauz Khas and other Delhi police officials. The June 2026 FMGE was marred by serious concerns regarding the exam, including flawed and disputed questions. Thousands of FMGs are affected, and we deserve a fair and transparent resolution.
We urge @JPNadda@PMOIndia@narendramodi @NBEMSOfficial
🚨 THIS IS NOT JUST A PROTEST — THIS IS THE STRUGGLE OF FMGE STUDENTS.
Today’s health update is deeply concerning. 4 more FMGE students have joined the hunger strike, standing together for justice despite the physical toll it is taking on their bodies. 🙏
These are not numbers on a paper.
These are students. These are future doctors. These are our fellow FMGEs.
They are fasting because their concerns deserve to be heard. They are sitting there because repeated requests for justice have not been enough.
🇮🇳 FMGE students must stand UNITED.
We request everyone to amplify their voices, share their struggle and make sure this sacrifice does not go unheard.
Justice for FMGE Students.
Respect the struggle.
Stand with the hunger strike.
