Really love your stuff but this ignores the point that making stuff for people requires one to empathize deeply with others (ie be human). The ruthless Xmaxxers seem like automatons - all my favorite builders were also aesthetes. Cooking, walking, chatting, napping, reading, gardening, painting, whatever has a bad ROI on the time, but the knock on effects of creativity, ability to empathize with your fellow humans, and build things the world is glad exists cannot be underestimated.
