The United States didn’t just lose 4–1 to Belgium… they were exposed. And so were Infantino and FIFA, proving once again how corrupt and compromised they are.

The United States began the tournament playing exciting football. We all enjoyed watching them during the group stage. They had a likable coach and plenty of support from neutral fans. Then suddenly, they decided to take off the football shirt and put on the suit of political influence. A reckless challenge, a deserved red card, and then the White House entered the scene as if football justice were nothing more than a piece of paper that could be rewritten with a phone call, political pressure, or a favor for the host nation.

Belgium went into the game as if they weren’t just facing a football team, but confronting a disgraceful idea: that the United States is entitled to privileges no other nation would ever receive. That’s why the 4–1 scoreline was more than just a result—it was a deserved humiliation for a team that hid behind politics, and a slap in the face for FIFA after bowing to Trump’s arrogant political influence.

I won’t blame the United States, because it’s a great country with an even greater people. I blame those who brought politics into football.

« À la suite de sa précédente communication, l'URBSFA souhaite expliquer publiquement les événements des dernières heures.
Après avoir appris, par voie de presse, la décision de la FIFA de lever la suspension automatique du joueur Folarin Balogun, l’URBSFA a adressé un courrier à la FIFA afin d'obtenir une copie de cette décision, des explications sur la procédure suivie et de faire connaître sa position quant à l'application des règlements en vigueur.
En guise d'unique réponse, la FIFA a informé l’URBSFA, par courrier, qu'elle considérait cette correspondance comme un appel, qu'un juge avait été désigné et que l’URBSFA ne disposait que de quelques heures pour compléter cet appel. Aucune autre information n'a été communiquée par la FIFA.
Or, les propres règlements de la FIFA prévoient que, pour qu'un appel soit recevable, la décision motivée doit d'abord être notifiée à la partie appelante. Alors que l’URBSFA ne faisait que solliciter des explications légitimes, la FIFA a elle-même transformé cette demande en appel, tout en veillant immédiatement à ce que celui-ci soit déclaré irrecevable.
Dans le même temps, la FIFA a refusé de répondre aux demandes d'informations parfaitement légitimes de l’URBSFA.
Par ailleurs, lors de la réunion de coordination du match, la FIFA a délibérément retiré de sa présentation la partie consacrée à la suspension automatique des joueurs. Pourtant, ce point figurait systématiquement à l'ordre du jour des réunions organisées avant chacune des quatre rencontres précédentes. L’URBSFA a interrogé la FIFA, tant oralement que par écrit, sur les raisons de cette modification, sans obtenir la moindre réponse.
À ce jour, l’URBSFA n'a toujours reçu ni la décision de la FIFA, ni la moindre explication concernant ce dossier. Dans ces circonstances, elle n'a d'autre choix que de contester l'éligibilité du joueur pour le prochain match.
Indépendamment de l'issue sportive de cette rencontre, l’URBSFA est profondément préoccupée par le déroulement des événements et poursuivra, dans les heures, les jours et les mois à venir, ses démarches afin de défendre les principes fondamentaux d'éthique, d'équité sportive et les intérêts du football dans son ensemble. »

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Royal Belgian Football Association has released a statement in regard to Folarin Balogun being able to play against them.

"The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) is astonished by FIFA's decision to declare suspended United States player Folarin Balogun eligible to play in the USA–Belgium match on Monday, 6 July at 5:00 p.m. (Seattle time)."

"FIFA bases its decision on Article 27 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code. This provision states that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee may decide to suspend the enforcement of a previously imposed disciplinary sanction."

"However, Article 66.4 of the same FIFA Disciplinary Code clearly provides that a red card (sending-off) automatically results in a suspension for the team's next match, as has been the case for all previous red cards issued during this FIFA World Cup."

"Furthermore, and irrespective of the above, the decision is in direct contradiction with the provisions of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Competition Regulations, as set out in Article 10.5:

"If a player or team official is sent off as a result of a direct or indirect red card (second caution), they will automatically be suspended from their team's subsequent match. In addition, further sanctions may be imposed."

"The automatic nature of such a suspension was also explicitly reaffirmed in FIFA World Cup 2026 Circular No. 16, which was distributed to all participating member associations on 12 May 2026."

"The same rule is reiterated at every FIFA World Cup 2026 Match Coordination Meeting prior to each match and is included in all FIFA World Cup 2026 workshop presentations.

"In order to safeguard the legitimate rights of all participating teams and to protect the fundamental principles of fair play in our sport, both at this FIFA World Cup and at future editions of the tournament, the RBFA is investigating all potential options."
