I get the analogy you’re making with Egypt and Greece, it’s actually quite clever.

But when you look at what happened to Russia and Eastern Europe just in the last 100 years, the destruction of the Church, the murder of the Tsar and his family, the Red Terror, the Holodomor, the mass rapes of 1945, and 70 years of communist brutality, it makes that “we are the real Europeans” claim hit a lot softer.

It’s hard to take it seriously when the same people who did all that are now lecturing everyone else about European identity.

a ton of ppl in tech & in the broader power structures simply do not understand the tsunami that is coming from the democratic party, particularly as it relates to younger ppl who have been left out of the economic upsides due to power law outcomes & women who are now turning left at a rate that would baffle even the most liberal of peeps.
