An artist:
(1) bought an Andy Warhol drawing for $20,000
(2) made 999 high-quality forgeries of it
(3) shuffled them together
(4) sold each of the 1,000 drawings for $250 each
"If you pay your $250 maybe you’ll get the original $20,000 Warhol, but you’ll never know."
sometimes life hands you lemons… and then even when life stops handing you lemons you think lemons are all you deserve so you start buying the lemons yourself… it’s important to realize when you’re the one handing yourself lemons

Tough to explain the joy I get from when my friends are brutally broken up with by men who are absolute trash. I don’t get to say it but it gives me such optimism that they will one day find someone who cherishes them correctly.
maybe not everyone can bloom as a flower & maybe the world doesn't need everyone to be a flower. maybe the world needs more grass, cactus, or more eucalyptus. maybe i am meant to be a pine tree. maybe blooming beautifully is never a requirement for living. we just need to grow.
@emilykmay Highly recommend using a local buynothing facebook group for this kind of thing! Helps to give it away to someone who is excited to take it!
oh you’re not automatically in a better mood because it’s snowing? you have lost your childlike sense of joy and wonder at a world blanketed in sparkling snow? that sucks man
do people even live like they did in seinfeld anymore… 40 years old, highly neurotic, dating around, baggy clothes, cereal, barging in and around etcetera
