We had the privilege during @AAPBiofeedback 2024 to meet with esteemed clinical psychologist and psychophysiological researcher Dr. Paul Lehrer, who is a valued member on our Scientific Advisory Board for the #AMT project.

I gave my class a “what do you meme?” extra credit assignment depicting something - ideally humorous, yet appropriate- that they took away from the class.
A 🧵 for your enjoyment…

For those who were craving reading a 100+ page document summarizing my last 5 years of work (even though no one has the time for that😅), have I got news for you. Presenting my dissertation officially published and available in the UofT Library!

Can confirm Aristotle was correct that the more you know, the more you realize you don't know
However, what I do know is that
1) my PhD wouldn’t be possible without my family, mentors, and friends
2) red is in fact my favourite colour
Trust me, I’m a doctor 😉

That’s a wrap for #CIMVHR2023! Had a blast finally meeting researchers I’ve met virtually before, and meeting so many new researchers and friends to collaborate with in the future. Merci and goodbye Ottawa-Gatineau!

The real academic writing test is learning to appropriately balance your use of "moreover", "however", "therefore", "furthermore", "hence", and "thus".
@BriannaABaker I relate to this and it’s not silly at all! I was disappointed when pandemic prevented me from finishing on time (by 27). With the amount of energy put towards our goal, a year can seem like forever and come to a standstill. But 1y later in hindsight the delay was worth it! ❤️
It’s nerdy DR. Jen Chan now 😎
