Unlike @AbdulElSayed, I’m an Arab who is actually from Israel. My family lived through the establishment of the state of Israel and what he calls the “Nakba.” The Holocaust was nothing like the events of the “Nakba” where my grandfather was told to flee by Arab leaders (not Jews) so the Arabs could “defeat the Jews.” He refused, and all the Arab residents who stayed were given citizenship. Those who fled, a large number by choice, were not permitted to return, as often happens in war. That is a catastrophe, a “nakba” of their own making. But there was no choice in the Holocaust, there was no citizenship for those who stayed. You are intentionally comparing a war and a genocide. They are not the same.
Your vile attempt to co-opt the largest massacre of the Jewish people in history, the systematic murder of six million people simply because they were Jews, for your own dystopian pro-terror Muslim Brotherhood agenda is despicable. I see through you Abdul. You may be able to fool Western Americans with your garbage, but we know who you really are.

THEN: The Nazis euthanized 250,000 mentally ill people during WWII.
NOW: Canada will vote October 7 on whether to euthanize mentally ill people.
And they say we're Nazis.
Wolfgang Engels was a 19-year-old East German border guard. He drove a Soviet-built armored vehicle through the Berlin Wall on April 25, 1963. Border guards shot him as he tried to exit the vehicle, causing the wounds seen in this photo taken at the Urban Hospital....
On April 17, 1963, a 19-year-old East German rammed an armored vehicle into the Berlin Wall. Wolfgang Engels was not a patrolling soldier, but a civilian auto mechanic trapped inside a stolen six-ton armored personnel carrier accelerating toward concrete and concertina wire. For twenty months, the German Democratic Republic had sealed its border with watchtowers, minefields, and shoot-to-kill orders. Dozens had already died attempting to swim border canals or leap from windows into Western fire nets. Engels knew that civilian cars crumpled against fortified obstacles, ending in prison or death. His only chance lay in raw steel momentum. Driving through darkened East Berlin streets, he steered the combat carrier directly toward the frontier, betting his life on a single catastrophic collision.
The audacious escape grew from profound ideological disillusionment. Born in Düsseldorf during the Second World War, Engels was brought to the Soviet zone as a boy by his mother, an ardent communist official in the ruling Socialist Unity Party. Despite his family’s elite status, Engels despised the censorship and pervasive surveillance of the Stasi. In August 1961, while serving as a driver in the National People's Army, he was deployed to the border when barbed wire was first strung across Berlin. Ordered to stand guard while workers bricked up streets and separated families, Engels was horrified to realize he was helping build a cage for his own people. That trauma haunted him, turning a private longing for freedom into an obsessive search for an escape route.
Working as a civilian mechanic at an army depot in 1963, Engels found the machine that could pierce the barrier: a six-wheeled Soviet BTR-152 armored personnel carrier. On the evening of April 17, while depot guards were distracted during dinner, Engels started the engine and drove past the gate, pretending to conduct a routine maintenance test. Driving through residential streets, he made a reckless stop, shouting to startled pedestrians: "Does anyone want to ride to the West?" Terrified that the offer was a lethal Stasi provocation, the civilians scattered in panic. Realizing he was entirely alone, Engels turned toward Treptow, aiming for the intersection of Elsenstraße and Heidelberger Straße, where the wall divided East Berlin from the Western district of Neukölln.
Approaching the frontier, Engels cut the headlights, dropped the steel armored view slits, and slammed the accelerator to the floor. Roaring down the asphalt in total darkness, the carrier crashed into the cinderblock barrier at full speed. The impact tore through the masonry, throwing Engels violently against the dashboard. But the wall did not crumble as planned. While the vehicle's armored snout punched into Western territory, the undercarriage became stranded on the shattered concrete foundation, its wheels spinning in midair while concertina wire tangled the axles. Trapped halfway between East and West, Engels kicked open the top hatch and scrambled onto the armored hood, directly into the crosshairs of a nearby watchtower.

A small country said the words Europe would not say from the UN podium. Slovenia stood on the right side of history.
Janez Janša stood at the UN and named Iran. Executions of political prisoners, young intellectuals and anyone who opposes the regime. A system that wants total control of social, political, and economic life. And then the sentence that should have come from Paris or Berlin: there is no sufficiently serious condemnation of this inside the United Nations.
That is the scandal. Not that Slovenia spoke. That it had to.
The rest of the European Union spent the week on the familiar choreography. Walkouts for the cameras. Statements about navigation and ceasefires. Kallas sitting down with Araghchi as if the man across the table were a counterpart and not a courier for a killing machine. They can find their voice for Israel in an afternoon. For the Iranian gallows they reach for process.
Janša called the thing by its name: inconsistency. Principles that apply when the corpse is fashionable and go quiet when the corpse is Iranian. January was a massacre. The hangings did not stop when the cameras left. Political prisoners are still being processed into statistics. If that does not “demand serious attention,” the phrase human rights has become a costume.
Credit Slovenia for doing the minimum the continent pretends is its brand. One prime minister from a country of two million said what the machinery of Brussels would not put in a plenary sentence. This is European abdication with a Slovenian footnote.
The EU has lost the moral high ground it keeps citing. You cannot lecture the world about values while the only precise accounting of Iranian executions in that hall comes from Slovenia. The cowards chose the softer file. Janša chose the dead. History will not confuse those two choices, and neither will the Iranian people.
Britain is no longer a country whose government can make foreign policy decisions in isolation from domestic demography. In city after city, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bradford, Leicester, there are large and concentrated populations whose political loyalties, when it comes to conflicts in the Middle East, do not align with the British national interest. Elections have been won and lost on bloc votes organised around overseas conflicts. MPs sit in Parliament who owe their seats to communities for whom the Iran question is not abstract foreign policy but a matter of immediate and passionate concern.

Gay people need to stop staying quiet. Political Islam is spreading in the West, and it does not come with gay rights. It does not come with women’s rights either. We already fought for those freedoms. Speak now, or watch them get rolled back.
Neil Armstrong's first words after stepping on the moon were:
"That's one small step for Man.
One giant leap for mankind," were televised to earth and heard by millions of people. But just before he re-entered the Lunar Lander, he made the enigmatic remark:
"Good luck, Mr. Gorsky."
Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival Soviet Cosmonaut.
However, upon checking, there was no Gorsky in either the Russian or American Space programs.
Over the years, many people questioned Armstrong as to what the -"Good luck, Mr. Gorsky" statement meant, but Armstrong always just smiled.
On July 5, 1995, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26-year-old question about Mr. Gorsky to Armstrong.
This time Armstrong finally responded because Mr. Gorsky had died, so Neil Armstrong felt he could now answer the question.
Here is Armstrong's answer to:
"Who was Mr. Gorsky!"
"In 1938, when Armstrong was a kid in a small mid-western town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard.
His friend hit the ball, which landed in his neighbour's yard by their bedroom window. His neighbours were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Neil Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky:
"Sex!!!!
You want sex?!!......
You'll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"
Teresa Ochoa, 31, went on local TV complaining that ICE roughed up her 17-year-old son after he filmed one of their operations in Alamo, Texas.
A few days later, ICE showed up outside the restaurant where she worked as a cook, arrested her, and deported her to Mexico that same day.
One pretty important detail she left out of the interview: she had already been deported in 2025 and illegally entered the country again.
Going on television probably wasn’t the smartest move when ICE was already looking for you. They watch the news too. 😂
Three things every man asks himself while going through TSA:
1) Is my water bottle empty?
2) Did I leave a gun in my bag?
3) Why is there a member of Boko Haram telling me to remove my belt in the interest of national security?
"People aren't ready, this is gonna change everything"
You know what people weren't ready for? Fucking mammoths. Tigers eating them. Monkeys ripping their arms off. The black plague. The ice age. Smallpox. Vikings pulling up on the beach. Drinking water that gives you diarrhea until you die. Getting a scratch and losing your whole leg. The Mongols. The Spanish Inquisition.
One volcano can send us back to the dark ages and these safety guys are gonna be shocked. Oh the robots didn't kill us? It was a volcano? Imagine their disappointment as the hot ash rains down on them.
A solar flare is gonna explode your phone in your pocket your legs are gonna be covered in battery acid and your bank account will stop working. You're afraid of a computer program doing math?

@NJBeisner I think it’s more likely that some of the activist jurors lied during voir dire and maybe even on their questionnaire. At least as likely as the holdout juror lying on his. Nothing is to be gained by all of this nonsense except ruining a man’s life.
