@SUBWAYCanada honestly have to say how disappointed I am that you would get rid of the #ovenroastedchicken
It was a good staple and simple for those of us on quick stop in.
Hate to say but you’ve #LostACustomer
@twitandrewking Honestly I’m complete opposite. Tried it and my rating:
-3/5: absolutely watery, no vanilla taste. Whatever there was it was so artificially gross
Threw it down the drain and would never consider again
@KimberDeeS@franco_nomics You acting like none of the PSE are tax payers. Everyone saying “we pay your salary” but yet they pay taxes too so that means they pay their own salary too…
@CandaceLorusso@psac_afpc Minimum wage gets yearly increases based on CPI. This year it’s a 6.8%; double what they are striking over.
I have worked customer service my whole life know what people are like; but also how about not treating people like they owe you something and you’ll get better service
@WittmannEric@severynne@psac_afpc I’ve worked in many different areas. I know there are good and bad about every job.
But I don’t think many people would accept a job without having a current collective agreement. Many PS sign new jobs with an expired one
@LSimon02016207@severynne@psac_afpc COP increases every year based on CPI; therefore this is again incorrect.
It is LEGISLATED that the CPP increase every year based on CPI
@olechunkacoal@severynne@psac_afpc Minimum wage has just been increased again; and it follows CPI which means a 6.8% increase for 1 year
PS are asking for a 4.5% increase for 2021/2022/2023 which is below the CPI that everyone else gets
@zzggn94 @MonaFortier What proof do you have of this?
This is old school thinking; given many private sector work from home; meaning only THEY are productive?
@MasterNeds@victori68031157@MonaFortier 9% to bring up to 2023-2024 fiscal year; so behind again….fed govt doesn’t get yearly raises like private sector or general workers.
So while 9% is “acceptable” it’s always going to be behind
And no job security isn’t guaranteed in PS (someone who lost their job in PS)
@fred_dibbles @ZimmelMike@MonaFortier Have you ever thought it’s not the employee but management who doesn’t know how to provide the proper support for them to work to your service level? It’s easier to blame those at the bottom for the lack of structure from above them
@stdenis52@psac_afpc You know that the minimum wage increase in 2022 was 6.8% to keep up with inflation?
But yet we can’t even get half of that in one year…
Plus, many private sector workers work from home all the time.
@ZimmelMike@MonaFortier What proof do you have that workers are unproductive? Or that is just your assumption because of 1 person you know?
Private sector has WFA for much longer but you have no issue with them and their yearly increases….
@MDNOShaughnessy To note also that a large percentage of PSAC voters could not actually vote therefore this is maybe the result of about 1/3 of the whole 155,000 represented
@PaulWithYou @thestolz@dkreative1 Automatic?
If you are maxed out in your positon you don’t get a raise until a new contract is negotiated. And since contracts are basically behind, no one is getting automatic raises unlike general public
