Security, Privacy, Photog, Music. Previously: very early Twitter employee. Now CTO Alembic, OTF Advisor, 1man entertainment machine. I helped build this thing.
So impressed with the grit of @tomascooking & team. Alembic applies pandemic-era contact tracing maths to marketing attribution, which companies like NVIDIA use to predict ROI from marketing spend! 🤯! LFG!
A startup I co-founded has managed to thrive through one of the worst startup markets in years, raising a $14M Series A - read all about it. https://t.co/XBEUyZam6S
I don’t post here anymore because this site is now overrun and mismanaged, but I thought I’d mention that collection agencies for Twitter are now calling my house, for Twitter’s debts, 10 years after I quit. Just, wow.

Could a company be any more irresponsible?

Yes, yes, let's give my employer access to my fucking sleep schedule.

How many companies had to send out a "Twitter fucked us and we lost access to the API because Elon wants 42k/mo" emails after this weekend? Looking at you. Microsoft, Hootsuite and many others...
This bill is unimplemetable, ridiculous, and an affront to freedom of speech and privacy. How about we just block Utah entirely? Maybe that’s what they intended. https://t.co/3YAgMXFMCf
I agree with speculation that removing SMS is about Twitter saving money. Gong off the data here I bet Twitter's SMS bill has been in the ballpark of $10M/year for authentication SMS, probably less. https://t.co/fA8aDuaffb
I’d also like to state that Twitter’s API has been throwing a shitload of errors all morning. Guess 2.6% of (2fa sms holding) users can break the site now
Not to be all “I’m considering leaving Twitter” then not actually leave, but charging for 2FA might really be the thing that does it. I’ve been hacked on here multiple times, and I’m supposed to shell out cash for something that every other website does for free?
