3.5 LPA -> 75 LPA+ in 5 years.
TCS -> Google

Start Point (2020 Grad): Tier 69 College. First Job: TCS (₹3.5 LPA).
Switch 1 (After ~2 Years): Jumped to a new company (₹10 LPA).
Switch 2 (After ~2.5 Years): Direct entry to Google as an SWE III (SDE 2).
Current Compensation: ₹75 LPA+ (₹1 Crore+ Total CTC).
He went from ₹3.5 LPA to over ₹1 Crore CTC in under 5 years, starting at the absolute bottom of the salary ladder.
I asked him for his secret—his "journey." His answer was very simple:
"𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗦𝗔 + 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆.
𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴."
The college logo was irrelevant.
The starting salary was irrelevant.
His success was purely about consistent skill building and high-volume application.
If you are currently at a "low" salary or a non-Tier 1 college, this is your proof.
It doesn't matter where you start; it only matters where you are willing to study, build, and aim next.

Those who think coming from a Tier 3 or Tier 4 college limits your opportunities — read this twice.
He’s was a senior of me, who lived nearby to my house.
A guy from a Tier-69 college, no IIT/IIM tag, no godfather, no privilege. Just pure grind.
Started coding in 2nd year.
→ Cracked BNY Mellon intern — ₹60K/month.
→ Landed Amazon SDE — ₹27 LPA (45+ CTC).
→ Moved to Uber SDE 2 — ₹65 LPA (1.2 Cr+ CTC).
→ Jumped to Meta SDE 3 — ₹3 Cr per annum (5 Cr+ CTC in London).
→ Now at Atlassian SDE 3 — ₹1.5 Cr per annum in India. (want to be with the family)
No shortcuts. No luck. Just insane consistency and focus.
He built himself brick by brick.
Made his family proud.
I really gets motivated that we need to do fucking hard, when I always see him.
