Here's a quick new SEO tip to get more inquiries.

Hit Edit profile, scroll down to opening date, and set it to the day your business actually opened. Not the day you made the profile, which is what most of them say. Older dates tend to rank better, so make sure yours is the real one.

Now pull up Google Maps and type in your service near me. This shows you all your competitors in your area.

Then pick three spots on the map and drive to each of those spots. Search your service and your city from there, and track where you show up on the map pack.

This way you can see where your profile is weak and where your profile is strong.

Another way, you can pull up a tool called Local Dominator. It does exactly what you just did, on a grid, without driving anywhere. Their number is that 80 percent of all clicks go to the Google Business Profile, so that's the thing to track.

Local Dominator also gives you recommendations of what you can do to rank higher. Example number one is building location pages out for the outer ring on the map. Another one is building local citations, so getting listed on your local chamber of commerce for example.
