@The_JBS I personally know a whole family who got fake adoptions for their minor children, by previously naturalized friends. Meanwhile, the children had wealthy parents back home in their country.
@GretchenPSmith Your local university is the entry point for many. Murfreesboro residents should keep an eye on the current search for a university president and be vocal about the impact of foreign students and faculty.
@NizNellie3 Federal research funding should not go to foreign citizens. Absurd that we don’t have a citizenship question on federal research proposal applications. They also use that money to hire foreign students on grant projects, and give them access to supercomputers.
@OCNYRider@attackdogX It’s older White men who are training them in many cases, rather than passing that knowledge, access, and leadership to younger White men.
@OCNYRider@attackdogX They also are using nepotism to dominate high-performance computing roles with access to super computers in national labs. And we pay for all of this with our federal science grant funds.
@attackdogX They are dominating federal research grants as well. There’s no citizenship requirement for NSF and NIH grants. Those grants fund more foreigners through sub- awards and hiring.
@NizNellie3 One avenue that should be cut off is that federal research grants do not require awardees to be US citizens: https://t.co/XH2iX8jPSQ. Let's support US citizens with federal research grants, not foreign faculty.
@heywildrich@0x49fa98 That’s why he mentioned the universities. Foreign student enrollment is how universities plan to survive the ‘demographic cliff’ of White Americans. The foreign students know it’s a pathway to citizenship and staying here forever with their anchor babies.
