Nets/Mets/Giants Tweets

I post about NY sports sometimes

[Billy Reinhardt @BillyReinhardt]

When KD, Harden, and Kyrie eventually hang it up, I think all will sit back and agree that not winning a championship together in Brooklyn is the biggest regret of their careers.

And the Nets organization and fans will feel the same. One of the biggest “what ifs” in sports history, unfortunately. But it was a lot of fun for a very brief time.

Despite the hard feelings of how all three stars left the Nets, as time passes, it oddly feels like there’s a bond between the three stars and the fanbase — shared heartbreak, I guess and alignment in the honest assessment that the team failed because of bad luck not because they weren’t good enough. If you know, you know how great that team truly was.

As typical , the usual idiots misinterpreting a Post article on Mets payroll for ‘ 26. I can’t imagine our payroll to be lower than last year. It’s always hard to predict but that would be my best guess.

@erikslater_ It’s painful watching Demin try to initiate the offense. He’s even afraid to dribble it up the court if someone’s near him. I hope that improves over the season and into next year. If not, it’s gonna be ugly.
