@StephenKing@TheGeneral_0 As an Australian, I am so fucking thankful for our gun control laws. Yes, there's been a rise in knife crime lately, but just imagine if they all had access to semi automatic weapons. Yeesh.
@newscomauHQ Eh, I've always said to my parents that they made their money for themselves, not for me and my sisters. They can do what they want with it. My boomer aunt on the other hand was very upset when my grandparents spent all their money and she got barely anything π€£
@NSWRFS hi, I'm currently waiting for my membership to be approved, on the tracker it's at Membership Services Review and has been since early February. I was just wondering how long until I'm approved and can do my BF? Thanks.
I've recently joined the local RFS (completely bullied into it, my dad's the captain and my sister is a deputy π€£), Blink 182 is on Friday and I'll possibly be starting a new job soon. I'm enjoying life right now π€π»
The Hill Top Brigade unveiled a special mural on Friday. Spread across an entire wall of Hill Top station, the painting features long-serving volunteers Brian Coates and John Matters. Between the two of them, Brian and John have dedicated some 150 years to the RFS.
Have you ever read something that is so badly edited that you want to go through the whole damn thing with a highlighter and red pen to mark the errors then send it to the editor? π
Itβs been one of the most requested additions from customers. Now, Mattel has released its first ever Barbie doll with Down syndrome.

@ServicesGovAU It is a difficult time, one that you're making even harder. I submitted a claim, waited 20 days with no response, so I withdrew and it put in another again. Again NO RESPONSE. That's the only reason you want proof now. How am I supposed to provide that? A photo of the local tip?
.@ServicesGovAU I've been trying to get this damn flood assistance for over a month. I know people who weren't even affected who got it immediately, no evidence required. But I have to show evidence? I lost mattresses, TV's, books and sentimental items.
Just to clarify, my mum's tumour was, thankfully, benign. But it was on the pituitary gland, pushing on the optic nerves by the time 95% was removed. The radiation was to hopefully stop the other 5% from growing anymore. She's losing her sight from the tumour anyway.
Well, @ServicesGovAU are at it again. 2 days after my mum finished radiation treatment, I've had to drag her into Centrelink because they denied her medical exemption. Apparently with essential tremors, diabetes, a brain tumour, and more, she can work. A+, guys π
@Optus I'm about ready to switch providers. Your customer service is terrible. I've been trying to get my bill explained and instead they just hang up on me. You've restricted my services which is great when I have a disabled mother who needs to contact me.
@Optus what the hell is going on with the network in Woodstock 2793? I can't receive texts or call out. I can barely use the internet. The work was meant to be done between midnight and 6am yesterday.
