I don't think people fully grasp how hard it is to make a nation from scratch, a system that functions as well as ours did.
Nation's like Australia don't just happen, it's an incredibly difficult task, that the overwhelming majority of leaders fail at, in some cases repeatedly.
But instead of respecting the accomplishment and not screwing with the settings that made it work in the first place, we have a cavalcade of people who think they can do it better.
History tells us that in all likelihood they can't and will probably screw up a good thing.
