Why does this man advocate for protecting animals abroad while continuing to shoot birds out of the sky at home? He’s eager to lecture others but refuses to practise what he preaches.
@RishiSunak@NFUtweets@NoFarmsNoFoods@FarmersWeekly Your party was happy taking us out of a market that provided billions in subsidies and were happy to sign trade deals that opens up cheap foreign imports to undercut them. Sit this one out Fishi.
I’m calling on all comedians to march against us paying inheritance tax. For us it’s not a job, it’s a way of life. The tax means my kids will have to sell everything if I die and their jokes will be lost forever. But I don’t expect you to understand that, Kier Starmer!!!
In 2011, two million public sector workers went on strike & protested against changes to pension schemes, which included increasing employee pension contributions & raising the age at which they're payable.
Here's what Clarkson said about the people on strike:
#FarmersProtest
Farmers are likely to lose support today. Who knew you could own 300 acre farm AND house in the village & pay no tax? #r4today
For years, we all thought everyone taxed IHT the same.
Any farmer marching alongside #Clarkson will be admitting they, too, are serious tax avoiders.
It’s staggering how good farm owners have it.
Tax on a £3m house inherited from your parents: £800k.
Tax on a £3m farm inherited from your parents: £0.
And that’s AFTER Labour’s tax changes.
You're a farmer in your 60s and have assets worth millions. You're worried that your kids might have to pay tax on their inheritance. But you don't trust them enough to sign those assets over to them, avoiding any tax at all if you live another 7 years. Is that not a bit weird?
What if people need to get to hospitals?
What if people need to get their kids to school?
What if people need life saving tubs of ice cream from the local Tesco Metro?
(Am I doing this right?)
