@TfL if you travel around central London all day and reach daily cap of £14.10, and then your final journey is Bond St to Maidenhead on Eliz. Line. What will the final charge be? I have emailed twice but had no response.
even though fare cap should cover you to the boundary (West Drayton), and contactless should only charge you for the journey outside of zones. But it wilfully doesn’t do this, forcing travelers to overpay. @TfL haven't responded to my questions on this. Thanks
@geofftech hi Geoff, just watched your video on split-ticketing. Isn’t biggest issue with price system that you could travel around London all day, reach fare cap, then end day travelling from, say, Paddington to Maidenhead, and it would charge you a full GWR fare on top , cont.
@MishalHusain@TfL It’s a big issue @TfL are wilfully not resolving Mishal. Even if you use contactless (which is covered out of London) you’re not charged London fare + fare from West Dayton to eg Reading, but automatically charged most expensive equivalent GWR fare. One for @BBCr4today ?
@TfL@TfL it seems the contactless PAYG calculates the fare as [outside London journey] +[inside London zones fare] + [a surcharge for crossing boundary on Elizabeth Line (£2.20 surcharge for single journey in example above)]. Is that explained anywhere?
@TfL@Crossrail where can I find the price breakdown of PAYG fares in the "special fare" zone west of West Drayton on the Elizabeth Line? They do not seems to be published online. Thanks
@TfL@TfL thanks for replying. This tells me how much the daily caps are, but not how the ticket price is calculated. For example, does it explain anywhere why Iver > Bond St is £10.10 at peak, yet Iver > West Drayton is £2.40 & West Drayton to Bond St is £5.50 (£7.90 total)?
@Marthalanefox@BCorporation @DAMEforGood In my new book, Mission Lit, I talk about the merits and limitations of B Corp (chapter 2), and the importance of both 'measuring what matters to everyone' and also 'measuring what only matters to your business/mission'. Great companies use B Corp as a foundation to build from.
@Marthalanefox@BCorporation Hi @Marthalanefox, just recertified with @DAMEforGood. It's taken longer than anticipated, & the verification process has been really rigorous. It's both encouraging, as standards are being kept high, & frustrating, as it doesn't necessarily measure the things that matter

@James0Perry@Jacq_Lim@charmianlove Thanks James. It feels like you can’t move for B Corps these days. Amazing success story! Here’s a pic of me and Georgie (not on Twitter) from 2015, far too happy with our B circle 😂
@denisehearn_ It would be fascinating if you could run simulations with different dominant ideas and see what fundamental systems (if any) remained in society.
