@wmasjoshmiller @clhampton12@WelshAmbulance@daisully@lyny1990 @1JoKelso @BladenJohn Within WAST EMTs are able to actually insert the EZ-IO but only when a paramedic or doctor is present and asks them to do it. They can then prime the connector but cannot actually flush the needle.

In what is a @WelshAmbulance first we are delivering a trainee EMT course live to 60 students simultaneously using @MicrosoftTeams. I visited the team delivering it today & whilst it’s a bit clunky as our first until we get the kit fully right the innovation is fantastic to see.
Thanks to @newryboy75 & @glynogwen for directing our first EMT course in North Wales for some years. Great to celebrate with friends and families. Here's to the next one & well done.....
Sad to hear about the death of Prof Malcolm Woollard THE leader of the development of ambulance services in Wales in the late 1990s via SEWAT & then WAST. We all owe him a debt professionally & many of us personally. Very very sad news.
I can’t quite believe the devastating news about William Dunlop who lost his life at the Skerries. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever meet. My thoughts are with the Dunlop family.
