My favorite part of Nolan’s Odyssey is the first scene where he showcases how these stories were first experienced. Not as academic texts to be dissected but as awesome narrations told while people were drinking and enjoying themselves. These tales don’t belong to academia!

Mostly since thinking about large systems doesn’t necessarily mean they parallel to their personal actions. Such as conservatives in Florida can be amazing people with horrible politics.
