The truth has crossed oceans and reached the world. Now the duty returns to us — to pull ourselves from the jaws of danger. Uganda is not borrowed land; it is our shared heartbeat. We deserve a nation where freedom breathes in every home and dignity walks with every citizen. The time to rise is now, not tomorrow.

"When my son was arrested, he was brutally tortured for simply supporting @HEBobiwine . I humbly appeal to those responsible to take our children to civilian courts. That's where they should face justice."~ Abudallah Kintu's mother
Abudallah is a political prisoner who was arrested on May 12, 2021.

Museveni’s stooge Norbert Mao famously said that when Museveni appoints you to his cabinet, he drives you like a wheelbarrow! In his case, he has gone beyond being driven around like a wheelbarrow, and turned himself into the despot's loudest henchman. Forgetting the lessons of history, here he is making illegal, criminal pronouncements. Thankfully, he also reveals the others he is working with to undermine the democratic will of the people of Uganda, thereby putting them on record. They are feeding off the pain and blood of our people, but I know that as God lives, THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!

When a horse is dying, this is how it kicks!!
This afternoon, two drones with heavily armed men in plain clothes raided the home of Kaija Doreen, the coordinator of the NUP School of Leadership. She was later driven away without any information as to why she was being taken, where, and so on.
A UPDF truck captured today in Kampala ferrying people who are usually paid to attend NRM events! Although the law categorically prohibits the use of government resources to support partisan politics, Museveni and his criminal regime will violate every law with impunity because they expect no consequences. While they break every law in the book, they go around abducting our supporters, blocking our every legitimate activity, etc. Despite all this, I remain eternally convinced that Museveni, like all despots before him will end up on the dustbin of history!

Our coordinator for the NUP School of Leadership comrade Kaija Doreen has been abducted from her home in Mbuya by heavily armed regime operatives. The persecution and intimidation continues!

A video showing how our comrade Kaija Doreen was abducted. You can imagine all these vehicles, armed men (some of them in civilian clothes) coming to pick up a harmless young woman whose only weapon is her voice and her conviction that Uganda deserves better. Museveni and his brutal son, on whose orders these cowards operate will most definitely get their due reward. Our duty is to keep pushing and never to give up!
Even journalists who tried to cover the incident were grabbed and taken away because these criminals do not want to be on camera. I appreciate the citizens who normally withstand the intimidation and record these incidents!
This week we had 3 successful "Kony=M7" protests. I thank Hellen, Richard, Ronald, Charles, Sam, Dennis, Lucas, Stuart, Aisha,Abdul and all in this video for their important contribution. The videos got over a million views. It was worth the arrest & 500 euros in parking fines!!
Those who say that the current wave of abductions and arrests of @NUP_Ug supporters are either visitors to Uganda or they're simply devoid of critical thinking. Here are some questions:
1. We have seen NRM supporters and apologists on several occasions conducting parades and drills. At times, they go as far as using weapons and putting on military fatigues during those drills. When are they being picked up?
2. What amounts to an illegal parade? What's the difference between a parade conducted by scouts/guides, schools, churches (abasirikare ba Paapa) etc and one conducted by members of a legitimate political party dressed in their party uniform?
3. If an alleged offence was committed, why are the suspects not summoned or arrested in accordance with the law? Why are they waylaid, abducted, tortured and held incommunicado? Also, if an offence was allegedly committed in February and these comrades have been available everyday, why is the regime picking them up now that we're getting close to an election? Moreover, some of the people being picked up were never present at that gathering!
4. Between 2019 and 2021, before and after the last election, the regime abducted more than 4,000 NUP supporters. Some were maimed, while others were killed. 18 are still missing. Had they participated in a parade? That time, the excuse was red berets which did not violate any law. Now they're trying to create another excuse. Even after the election, many more have been abducted and arrested over funny reasons, including Eddie Mutwe and team who allegedly stole a jumper and were charged with aggravated robbery!
Therefore, anyone can see that this is nothing short of the continuing PERSECUTION of the regime’s political opponents.
