@SebastianRoehl RN is easy to maintain if no native experience. Tons of knowledge online. KMP is overkill imo. You can still migrate later.

@SebastianRoehl Assuming some native modules which you might use: healthkit, ocr, torchlight: you have solid libraries in the RN ecosystem. Expo UI makes it easy to generate native UI, or you can choose to go for a consistent look between the two platforms. My 2c

It’s wild how “vibe coding” founders are starting to label developers as “gatekeepers.”

Developers built the practices, patterns, and ecosystems that LLMs rely on today

For years, they’ve:
• open-sourced tools
• shared knowledge
• mentored others
• maintained projects — often for free

This has always been one of the most open and welcoming communities in tech

The concern isn’t “keeping people out.”

It’s that sooner or later, someone will be asked to fix a 1M LOC AI-generated app held together by prompts

If developers are gatekeeping anything…

@davidhdev Codex for a while now. Lot of weeks on both, Claude never goes deep. Unless you guardrail very good or hold its hand every step, there’s gonna be a lot of wasted time fixing stuff. Codex is slow. But very verbose in implementation.
