Funny how the same “KOLs” screaming "Web3 is the future!”
…are now posting "Web3 is dead" after a few red candles🤡
Like do you even know why any of this matters beyond a quick cash grab?
Before you declare Web3 dead, maybe ask what it was built to rebel against:
A system so broken most people don’t even realize they’re trapped in it.
Think about it:
⁃ Why can fish swim freely, but humans need passports to cross imaginary borders?
⁃ If freedom of movement was a God-given right, when exactly did we lose it?
⁃ If the nation-state only appeared in the 18th century, how did it become the only system after WWII?
⁃ And when did we accept that only centralized powers could mint currency?
The modern nation-state system has stripped away far too much of what was once God-given freedom for humanity.
Hayek put it simply: money shouldn’t be something only governments control. People should be free to create their own.
There are ~200 countries on Earth today, but how many of them issue currencies people actually trust?
Most are just printing money to cover their own mess while your savings lose value.
Web3 flips that power:
- Everyone can mint.
- Everyone can own.
- Everyone can keep their privacy.
- Smart contracts replace the middlemen taxing trust itself.
Is Web3 perfect? No.
It has scams, flaws, shadows everywhere.
But it also gives humanity something we almost lost: a chance to reroute power without asking permission.
Epicurus said happiness is:
the body free from harm, the soul free from anxiety.
Web3 moves us closer to that than any system we’ve ever had.
So if you’re here, know why.
Because if you can’t even explain it to yourself
…you’ll never explain it to anyone else.
