@HealthToFit Agree. My current set up is looking at overnight HRV from Apple Watch upon waking but also doing a sitting spot test with HRV4Training Pro as well as an extra layer of comparison. Does the app allow the exporting of just HRV4Training Pro values to https://t.co/3kcEqQaKQl?
@epawawx You’re in the spot of the most popular video on my YouTube channel! It’s a beautiful spot and with the jelly fish problem it would probably make for some ideal filming conditions because of the lack of people:

@epawawx I learned the app purple air can inflate the PM 2.5 numbers by 30-50% due to using a laser to estimate AQI vs pulling air in like EPA sensors. The optical laser sensor is biased with wildfire smoke. There’s actually an EPA conversion factor to apply. Who knew!
@onwithjohnwx We’re still near 100-110 on the AQI here in Coopersburg PA. I had a big bike ride planned today but don’t really want to breathe in the air for multiple hours. Something short yeah, but nothing long term. Really hoping the smoke is over next week and we go back to >50 AQI.
@epawawx You can pretty much tell when an account screen shots a model image from tropical tidbits on the free website they probably don’t know what they are talking about lol
@NWSStateCollege@epawawx Does this suggest the health implications should be based on that average as well? Like for example my house is code black level hazardous now but it wasn’t like that all day. What happens if I’m forced to be outside in the 300+ level conditions?
@epawawx@stormchaserray You know how volcanic eruptions produce their own lightning? I was wondering if more particulate matter in the air makes the air more “charged” and the lightning with cells that can form are worse . Maybe it’s a far fetched theory but it sounds cool haha
@mikestanislaw Upstate NY seems to be the core right now, will this swing down about 6pm or so here to our area? The “z” time going so fast on the model I can’t quite make out when it is haha
@epawawx New home owner here, is it recommended to limit AC usage during peak concentration? Will the AC unit suck the smoke into the house and strain the filter? I usually set the thermostat to 78 while I’m away anyways but it’s been so hot it kicks on afternoonish.
@mikestanislaw 8 inches is tropical storm level rainfall. This is certainly a surprise. The first official stress test on my new houses basement. Considering how dry it’s been I can see this catching a lot of people off guard. Reminds me of July 2025 on that random day places got 8 inch’s+
