@g__j Fairly disappointed with @OctopusEnergy's customer services. Gas smart meter not working (was working with Ovo), Octopus say it's never going to work, too far from electric meter, tough, no smart tariffs for you. No offer of installing dual-band smart meters, etc.

@FullyChargedDan HS2 was never a "northern project" - it was always a "London project". The only way it could have been a northern project would be to build the north end first so that when it inevitably gets cancelled it is the London part that isn't done.

Until the infrastructure and cost is better for diesels, you'll have a hard job convincing me.

(My EV costs me under 2p per mile, except for journeys over about 250 miles... I do those kind of journeys about 3 times a year).
