Doctors be like: Don’t confuse your Google search with my 4 years of Medical School
Patients be like: Don’t confuse your 4 years of Medical School with my 20 years of living with the fucking disease
@Kenneth33071904@LadyChuan I just got my first case of covid last month. I was a mild case. I don't have any "bad" LC symptoms. I look like I'm "living normally". I've had a cough every day for a month and it started after I started testing negative post infection. But not severe enough to be noticed.
@abby_e_o I have a 16 yo boy, 13 yo girl, 22 month boy. How they behave and what they like has been more based on personality than gender. They were all active and talk nonstop. Where I saw difference was the time/age at which things happened. (Fine motor, puberty, potty training)
@ERnurse86 Idk if it's my being neurodivergent or what but long before I understood the history and the "why's" I noticed as a kid how segregated neighborhoods and towns were & it didn't strike me as something that would happen naturally. I was constantly annoying my family w/ ?'s.
@ChrisMurphyCT You won't win them over by them being in the same political party. We definitely don't want them runnyfor office and all us regular folk are perfectly capable of talking with friends and family without them being in our same political party. And there can be bipartisan coalition
@ChrisMurphyCT Stand for what's right, across the board. Then those social conservatives can decide if they hate women and Blacks and queer folk more than they love healthcare and roads and free education 🤷🏻♀️ if their hate is more important to them than their own well being, let em live with it
@cenkuygur It's not a small disagreement and its the WAY in which you're treating everyone like shit who disagrees with you. TYT members, TYT employees. I'm not intimidated by strong opinions but those can be shared respectfully. You haven't been doing that. It's disappointing.
@aprilajoyr Nah, bc we just had to have so many spiritual life points by graduation and those could be earned any number of ways. I went to a southern Baptist school but you didn't have to be Christian to attend so my Muslim friends joined a service fraternity for their points. 👍
@AndreaR9Md I spilled two Yeti's worth of boiling hot coffee on my hand while pregnant during the Texas freeze so Houston Methodist had no running water and pain med options were limited due to the baby. Watched my skin just fall off my hand after the spill. 0/10 stars do not recommend.
@emilykmay Very few build their own home, they buy ones built by developers and developers don't build them small bc they want to make more $. And you're right, the older ones in town are half a million now bc of gentrification
@emilykmay We have a very active FB group for my side of town for parents of kids with all disabilities. And my daughter's autism is from her having a genetic disorder that causes lots of other issues, so the advocacy group for her disorder is very active as well...
In the past I've been able to talk myself down by saying "it's not actually that bad you just feel that way". And usually I was telling myself the truth and it grounded me. Now, in a lot of ways and on a lot of days, it is that bad. But also, hormones.
Having an anxiety disorder is hard enough. Having that anxiety heightened due to perimenopause when the world is on fire (literally and figuratively) is extra fun bc then I constantly have to play the game of "is this just hormones or should I actually be freaking out?"
