@fromsoftserve best part about it is that they didn’t openly and desperately pander to Gamers (Sexists) which means i can still respect them
unlike some other upcoming dark fantasy soulslike sequels i know of and am not particularly interested in buying anymore.
@fromsoftserve is going full PT really worth it, do you think? I tested it VERY briefly but it was struggling to hit 50-60 FPS. when raster comfortably hangs out at 120 and PT cuts that below half it’s sort of a hard sell for me
@fromsoftserve I was really deeply unimpressed with the combat. but then I was just really hoping for something that gave me more of a real swordfight, HEMA-style vibe like half sword or kcd or mount & blade.
kinda deflated my interest in it, feeling how slow and simple it is in reality
In one of the prototype versions of Yoshi's Island, the Baby Mario handover process is unfinished and does not always work. The Yoshi that should be waiting at the end is missing, and the playable Yoshi simply throws Baby Mario onto the ground, making him crawl off by himself.
@fromsoftserve like i'll be honest. i could forgive someone for thinking these are four screenshots of four completely different games.
or one really weird elden ring mod
honestly the more i look at it the more it does just look like a really weird elden ring mod.
@fromsoftserve All fairness, it has the sloppiest art style of anything from has ever done, based on that trailer
Like it’s just messy and incoherent. Lots of random crap. Feels like leftover stuff from a bunch of scrapped ideas that they’re sticking into one big pile. I kinda get it
Mario Kart: Double Dash contains a bizarre "eternal European pain" glitch whereby being burned when entering a pipe will cause the character to remain in pain indefinitely, but only in the European version.
After four years I am happy to finally release Labyrinth of the Demon King out in to the world on all platforms right now.
Big thank you to @RemuDaifuku and @noirsroom for all the help with audio and other things you'll see in the game.
Special thanks to @TopHatStudiosEN for all the support developing the game. The game would not have reached the finish line without their help.
And of course, thank you to all of you who have followed and supported me throughout the development of this game and my journey into gamedev.
I am proud of what I have created and look forward to creating even cooler things in the future for you to play.
The Demon King waits upon his throne, testing you with monstrosities and traps on your journey.
Labyrinth of the Demon King is OUT NOW on Steam (Steamdeck runs great), GoG, PlayStation 5 & PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. If you enjoy the game, please consider leaving a review.
"oh man i'm kinda hungry enough for a snack but not like enough for a full meal. lemme check my pantry and see if there's something small for me to eat"
the reliable animal cracker:
@obloquars IT'S A GREAT GAME AND IM ENJOYING IT A LOT
it's just. sometimes i'll have expectations shattered in a moment that sorta gut checks me. totk and dd2 both did it too, much worse than ttyd i should say
ttyd is wonderful, playing it blind for the first time
i was absolutely loving it until i realized the areas all sucked and the dungeons were tiny and every region was just a handful of corridors
now i'm. i'm more mixed on it all of a sudden.
